The story behind
The song *Tu amor me hace bien* by Marc Anthony, with its contagious rhythm and energy that invites movement, has an interesting story behind it. It's not just another salsa track; it's part of an album, Valió la Pena, which marked a return to the artist's roots. In fact, this work reunited Anthony with producer Sergio George, with whom he had already collaborated in 1995.
This album, Valió la Pena, included seven songs from Marc Anthony's previous work, Amar Sin Mentiras, but this time presented with salsa arrangements. Additionally, a version of a classic, "Lamento Borincano," originally by Rafael Hernández, was added. The album was very well received, reaching the top spot on the Top Latin Albums chart, something he had already achieved with his previous album. Recognition also came with awards: it was named Best Salsa Album at the 2005 Latin Grammy Awards and Tropical Album of the Year at the Premios Lo Nuestro that same year. The song's duration is 4 minutes and 36 seconds.
