The story behind
The rhythm of *Techno son* invites you to move from the first moment. It is a piece that captivates you with its energy, a fusion that goes beyond the expected. Here, traditional *son* meets elements that give it a completely modern feel, creating a soundscape that invites exploration. The piece's duration, 4 minutes and 15 seconds, is perfect for immersing yourself in this musical proposal without feeling like it drags on.
Chichi Peralta, born in Santo Domingo, has a career that dates back to his childhood, creating his first instrument at the age of 4. Before launching his own project, he was a very active percussionist on the music scene, being part of groups such as Fernando Echavarría y la Familia André, "Trilogía", and "4.40" by Juan Luis Guerra, where he stayed for 8 years. His first album, *Pa' Otro La'o*, was released in 1997, and it was an important step where he also took on production and arrangement roles. Then, in 2000, *De Vuelta Al Barrio* arrived, an album that earned him a Latin Grammy. In that work, he dared to mix *son* with jazz, merengue with guaguancó, pop with African rhythms, and bachata with Brazilian and Arab influences. To give that recording even more substance, he had the participation of the London Symphony Orchestra and the choirs of "Luz Africa", with sessions held in Paris. Later, in 2005, he presented *Más que suficiente*, another album that received nominations for the Grammy and Lo Nuestro awards in 2006, becoming one of the best-selling Latin albums in Japan.
