The story behind
The song *Solo una sana e consapevole libidine salva il giovane dallo stress e dall’Azione Cattolica* has a duration of 4:52. The title, quite descriptive, suggests a theme that seeks a balance between vitality and social pressures.
Adelmo Fornaciari, known artistically as Zucchero, was born in Reggio nell'Emilia on September 25, 1955. His career has led him to sell over 50 million records, positioning him as one of the best-selling Italian artists. His album *Oro, incenso e birra* was for a long time the best-selling Italian pop music album globally, a milestone that was later surpassed by Andrea Bocelli's *Romanza* in the international market, although in Italy the record is held by Claudio Baglioni's *La vita è adesso*. Zucchero's career also includes milestones such as being the first Western artist to perform at the Kremlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and in 1996 he was included in *The Faber Companion to 20th Century Popular Music*, an important encyclopedia of modern music. In 1994, he participated in the Woodstock Festival, being the only Italian artist present. Throughout his more than thirty-year career, he has collaborated with an extensive list of international artists, including Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Sting, Bono, Brian May, Eric Clapton, Bryan Adams, Peter Gabriel, Solomon Burke, Sérgio Mendes, Sheryl Crow, Mark Knopfler, John Lee Hooker, Miles Davis, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Iggy Pop.
