Adelmo Fornaciari, known artistically as Zucchero, is an Italian musician originally from Reggio nell'Emilia. Throughout his career, he has achieved notable international projection, collaborating with an extensive list of world-renowned artists. His work has been recognized on various occasions, and his album Oro, incenso e birra remained one of the best-selling in the history of Italian popular music globally. Furthermore, Zucchero has been a pioneer in certain milestones, such as being the first Western artist to perform at the Kremlin after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the first Italian to be featured in The Faber Companion to 20th Century Popular Music in 1996.
