When you immerse yourself in Pienso en ti, you encounter a piece that, despite its short duration of 2:28, condenses a particular energy. The composition and production of this song, as well as most of those that make up the album Pies descalzos, was a joint effort between Shakira and Luis Fernando Ochoa. They had previously collaborated on «¿Dónde estás corazón?», a track that marked one of the artist’s first major successes.
