The story behind

The song One More Time has an interesting story behind its creation. It was written by Richard Marx, who later recorded it for his own album, Days in Avalon. However, the version many know is that of Laura Pausini, originally released in 1999. This version was included in the soundtrack of the film Message in a Bottle. The production of this piece was handled by David Foster, who also took care of the arrangements, while the mixing was done by Humberto Gatica and the recording engineering was by Felipe Elgueta. The musical style is situated between soft rock and adult contemporary, with an approximate duration of 4 minutes and 25 seconds.

One More Time has been a recurring theme in Laura Pausini's career, appearing on compilations of her greatest hits such as E ritorno da te and 20 - The Greatest Hits. Although an official music video was not filmed for the song, an acoustic performance included in the now-discontinued collection Video Collection 1993–1999 is considered the defining visual version. In it, Pausini can be seen alone, dressed in black, and then next to a white piano. The song has also been covered by other artists; Myriam Hernandez recorded an adaptation with Spanish lyrics for her album + y más... in 2000.
