The story behind

This instrumental piece, simply titled "-", is a brief interlude that functions as a sonic respite, a pause before diving into the depths of the album El Calor del Pleno Invierno. With a duration of just three seconds, its purpose seems to be to mark a transition, a subtle bridge between the musical ideas that surround it. It does not seek to be a standalone track, but rather a brushstroke that enriches the overall listening experience of the record. The album to which it belongs, El Calor del Pleno Invierno, was released on October 18, 2012, under the Bizarro Records label. This work marked a milestone for the Uruguayan band No Te Va Gustar, being the first to reach the top spot on the charts in Uruguay and Argentina. The production was handled by Federico Lima and Sebastián Peralta, and featured guest vocalists such as Fernando Ruiz Díaz, Gabriel Peluffo, Jorge Serrano, and Germán Daffunchio. This album also marked the first time the band recorded without the presence of keyboardist Marcel Curuchet, who had passed away previously. The album received a nomination at the Latin Grammy Awards and three at the Graffiti Awards in 2013.
