The story behind
The song *No puedo arrancarte de mí* by Cristian Castro is from the album *El Deseo de Oír Tu Voz*, released in January 1996. This work, produced by Daniel Freiberg, marked Castro's last collaboration with the Fonovisa Records label. Within this album, we find songs that had already resonated, such as *Morelia*, previously used in the telenovela of the same name and which also appeared on the 1994 album *El Camino del Alma*. The singles *Amor* and *Amarte a Ti* reached the top of the *Billboard Hot Latin Tracks* and *Billboard Latin Pop Airplay* charts during 1996, demonstrating the strength of this material.
