Cristian Castro, whose real name is Cristian Sainz Valdés Castro, was born in Mexico in December 1974. His artistic career is strongly influenced by his family legacy: he is the son of renowned actors Verónica Castro and Manuel "El Loco" Valdés. On his mother's side, he is the nephew of producer José Alberto "El Güero" Castro, and on his father's side, he descends from the famous comedian Germán Valdés, known as Tin Tán, and from Ramón Valdés, remembered for his role as Don Ramón in *El Chavo del Ocho*. Growing up in an eminently artistic environment, Cristian initially explored acting before fully dedicating himself to his great passion, singing, which would catapult him to international fame. Throughout his career, he has managed to place 29 songs in the top positions of Top Latin Songs, being recognized as the third most prominent Spanish-speaking artist in Billboard history, with sales exceeding 12 million records worldwide and an extensive record of over 65 gold records and 31 platinum records.
