The story behind
Lali released No me importa in November 2024, as the second single from her sixth album, No Vayas a Atender Cuando El Demonio Llama. The song was released on November 26, after a part of it leaked on social media a week earlier. Lali posted a video of her birthday party on TikTok with the text "Y no me importa", which ended up being the title of the song.
The song blends rock, pop rock, pop punk and punk rock. It has two minutes and thirty-three seconds. The song was written by Lali, Martín D'Agosto, Mauro De Tommaso, BB Asul and Don Barreto. It was produced by De Tommaso and Barreto, who also played guitar, electric bass and keyboards. Juan Giménez Kuj and Guillermo Salort also participated as guitarist and drummer. The mixing was done by Lewis Pickett and the mastering was done by Dave Kutch.
