No hay dolor

The story behind

The recording of No hay dolor was born in two different studios within less than a month: in March 2002, in Santiago de Chile, Mariano Pavéz handled the majority of the tracks for the album Este fuerte viento que sopla, while "Clara" was completed in April at La Zapada (Montevideo), under the guidance of Álvaro Reyes. The album was released in October of that year at the Teatro de Verano, and its sound blends genres ranging from ska to reggae, passing through rock and even murga. The song itself lasts 4 minutes and 52 seconds, just enough time for Mateo Moreno’s bass and Emiliano Brancciari’s guitar to weave that melodic line that repeats like a heartbeat.
