The story behind
The song Musica è by Eros Ramazzotti lasts over eleven minutes, a considerable duration that allows for the development of a deep sonic atmosphere. The artist, known for his particular vocal timbre, has built a solid career in pop music, achieving recognition in his native Italy as well as in Europe and Hispanic America.
Eros Ramazzotti was born in Rome, at San Giovanni hospital, in 1963. He grew up in the Cinecittà neighborhood, a place marked by the film industry, where he even had appearances as an extra in films; it is said that he appears in Federico Fellini's Amarcord, a work that won an Oscar in 1973. His father, Rodolfo Ramazzotti, also had musical aspirations, even recording two songs. Although the young Eros was close to emigrating to Australia with his family, a plan that ultimately did not materialize, his path led him towards music. After a failed attempt to enter the conservatory due to not knowing how to read sheet music, he presented himself with a piece by Francesco De Gregori. Finally, he abandoned his Accounting studies to dedicate himself fully to his passion.
