The story behind

Adesso tu, according to DoReSol

The story behind Adesso tu is that of a song that resonated deeply, to the point of winning the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival in its 1986 edition. The composers behind this piece are Eros Ramazzotti, Piero Cassano, and Adelio Cogliati, who managed to capture a narrative that, it is said, has autobiographical undertones. This same lyrical essence was revisited years later, in 2010, by the artist Marracash in his single Rivincita, featuring the collaboration of Giusy Ferreri.

Released as a single in 1986, Adesso tu falls within the Pop genre and had an approximate duration of 4 minutes, with Piero Cassano taking on the role of producer. The track was published under the DDD label and its B-side contained the song Un nuovo amore. The original language of the piece is Italian and it was part of the album Nuovi eroi. It is interesting to note that, while the official recorded duration is 4:00, other music databases mention a duration of 5:06, a detail that sometimes occurs with recordings. The song reached the top of the popularity charts in countries such as Austria and Switzerland, in addition to leading in Italy, consolidating itself as a success at the time.
