Mil siluetas

The song Mil siluetas, with its 4 minutes and 25 seconds duration, is a piece that was conceived at a key moment for La Unión. When the group was taking its first steps in Madrid, with Rafa Sánchez at the forefront as singer, Luis Bolín on bass, Mario Martínez on guitar, and Iñigo Zabala on keyboards, they found the support of Nacho Cano and Rafael Abitbol. It was precisely Nacho Cano, who also handled the production, who shaped this track.

This work arrived in 1984, the same year that La Unión released Lobo hombre en París, a success that catapulted them to number one on the charts for three months. Mil siluetas was included in the debut album of the same name, released that same year and also produced by Nacho Cano. Later, in 1986, they would release 4x4, a compilation of their most outstanding songs up to that point. Further on, in 1988, after the departure of Iñigo Zabala, the group took over the production of their own albums and embarked on a tour of South America. In the early nineties, with the album Tentación, they showcased songs like Berlín and Ella es un volcán. In 1993, they experimented with more psychedelic sounds in Psychofunkster Au Lait, including songs like Africa.
