The story behind
This song, *Lui non sta con te*, is one of the tracks that Laura Pausini included in her album *Laura*, released in 1994. What's interesting about this song is that it was presented as the fourth and final promotional single from that work, reaching radio stations in October of that year. Unlike other singles, a music video was not produced for *Lui non sta con te*, with its promotion focusing mainly on radio airplay. The musical composition is credited to Angelo Valsiglio and Roberto Buti, while the lyrics are the work of Cheope and Marco Marati.
The journey of *Lui non sta con te* didn't stop in Italy. In 1994, the song was adapted into Spanish by Badia, taking the title *El no esta por ti*. This version was included in Laura Pausini's first Spanish-language album, also titled *Laura Pausini*, and was released as a fifth single in 1995, but its promotion was specifically concentrated in Spain. Similar to its Italian counterpart, this Spanish version also did not have a music video, limiting its promotion to Spanish radio waves. Subsequently, the original Italian song was once again part of another album, the 1995 *Laura Pausini*.
