The story behind
La voce, according to DoReSol
The song *La voce* was conceived by Cheope and Fabrizio Pausini, the artist's father, and was recorded in 1996. It is part of Laura Pausini's third studio album, titled Le cose che vivi, which was released in September 1996. This track was the sixth and final single taken from the album. There is also a Spanish version, called *La voz*, which was included in the Spanish edition of the album, Las cosas que vives.
Although both versions of *La voce* were performed live during the "World Wide Tour 1997", no official recording of these concerts was released on DVD. The album's promotion included a performance on the television program 105 Night Express, where Pausini performed this and other songs. As it was not physically released as a CD-Single, a music video was not produced for this track either. The album Le cose che vivi, released simultaneously in Italian and Spanish, has had a wide reach, selling over 3 million copies worldwide, with the Spanish edition achieving more than 300,000 copies in Spain alone.
