Home and Dry

The song *Home and Dry* by Gerry Rafferty, with its 4:59 duration, emerges from a period of waiting for the artist. In the United Kingdom, the record reached number 6 on the album chart and went gold. In Canada, its reception was even greater, achieving double platinum certification in 1979. Within this context, *Baker Street*, *Right Down the Line*, and, of course, *Home and Dry* stood out as popular tracks on the American charts.
