The story behind
Every Little Thing You Do, according to DoReSol
When you delve into the recording of *Every Little Thing You Do*, you discover it's a piece that emerges from a particular moment in Laura Pausini's career. This track is part of *From the Inside*, her seventh studio album and her first foray into recording in English, released on November 5, 2002, through Atlantic Records. The peculiarity of this work is that it remained her only English album until 2016, with the arrival of *Laura Xmas*. Most of the 12 songs that make up *From the Inside* move within the pop genre, although two, *Love Comes From The Inside* and *I Do 2 Be*, explore slightly different territories. Curiously, two of the album's songs had already been presented in Italian and Spanish on previous works: *It's Not Goodbye* and *Everyday Is A Monday*. The latter, in fact, had an interesting journey, as it was originally conceived in English and later adapted to other languages, although its first public appearance was precisely in Italian and Spanish.
For the creation of this album, Laura Pausini collaborated with renowned songwriters. Among them are Andreas Carlsson, known for his work with other artists, K. C. Porter, and Patrick Leonard, who has collaborated extensively with Madonna. This album marked a milestone in Pausini's career, consolidating her as a prominent figure in Italian music internationally. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated vocal and thematic versatility, addressing themes from classic love ballads to social issues like poverty or war. Her impact is reflected in the more than 45 million copies sold worldwide and in the attainment of hundreds of international awards, including multiple Grammy Awards and Latin Grammy Awards. The album *Escucha*, for example, earned her a Latin Grammy in 2005 for Best Female Latin Pop Album, and the following year, in 2006, she received a Grammy Award in the category of Best Latin Pop Album.
