The story behind

Esa pared, according to DoReSol

When you dive into *Esa pared*, you encounter a melody that invites you to feel. The story it tells is that of an invisible wall separating two people, a barrier that, despite being there, fails to extinguish the spark of what they feel. It's that feeling of closeness and distance at the same time, something Leo Dan knew how to capture with a very particular sensitivity.

This track is part of his first album, released in 1963 in Argentina. To bring these songs to life, Leo Dan worked with Milo Y Su Conjunto. The album, released by CBS and Columbia Argentina, included his own compositions, although some pieces were adaptations or collaborations, such as *Desencadena mi corazón*, inspired by *Unchain my heart*, and *Deci porque no queres*, written by Palito Ortega and Dino Ramos. Songs like *Celia*, *Fanny*, *Deci porque no queres*, and *Canta el corazón* were well-received. The album also circulated in other countries: in Peru it was known as *Para ellas* through Sono Radio, and in Brazil it was distributed by Gravações Elétricas S.A., while in Colombia it was released by Discos Tropical.
