The story behind

When you immerse yourself in the music of Leo Dan, it's interesting to note how an artist can lay the foundation for their career with an initial work that already shows glimpses of what's to come. His first studio album, released in Argentina in 1963, not only presented a collection of songs from his own pen but also included some adaptations and collaborations that gave it a special flavor. For example, the song Desencadena mi corazón is a version of Unchain my heart, and Deci porque no queres was written by Palito Ortega and Dino Ramos, showing an openness to different influences from the very beginning.

This LP, which contained twelve compositions, saw the emergence of several songs that resonated with the public, such as Celia, Fanny, Deci porque no queres, and Canta el corazón. To bring these songs to life, Leo Dan worked alongside Milo Y Su Conjunto, a collaboration that undoubtedly contributed to the recording's sound. The distribution of this material extended beyond Argentina; in Peru it was known under the title Para ellas through the label Sono Radio, and in Brazil it was released by Gravações Elétricas S.A., while in Colombia, Discos Tropical was responsible for its dissemination. The canonical title that identifies one of these pieces is Después de ayer.
