The story behind
In *El último jefe*, No Te Va Gustar presents a piece that, with its 3:03 duration, fits into the context of an album that marked a milestone for the band. This work, El Calor del Pleno Invierno, released in 2012, was the first in which keyboardist Marcel Curuchet did not participate, following his passing. The production was handled by Federico Lima and Sebastián Peralta, and featured guest vocal collaborations from figures such as Fernando Ruiz Díaz, Gabriel Peluffo, Jorge Serrano, and Germán Daffunchio.
This album, which came after the single *A las Nueve*, became the band's first number one in both Uruguay and Argentina. Its impact extended to accolades such as a nomination at the Latin Grammy Awards and three at the 2013 Graffiti Awards. The band, formed in Montevideo in 1994, has evolved over the years, incorporating diverse rhythms and consolidating its sound.
