Caravana

The story behind

Gustavo Cerati released Caravana as part of his album Ahí vamos, released in 2006. The song lasts just over four minutes, and from the first chord it takes you on a journey. It's a rhythm that moves between rock and pop, with a guitar that feels in your chest. The lyrics speak of a journey without a destination, of a train that moves without stopping, as if time had stopped. Cerati's voice carries that nostalgia that suits him so well, as if he were telling a story that has already been forgotten. The song was recorded in a studio, with a band that accompanied him, and from the very first second it makes you feel as if you're in the caravan, in motion, without knowing where you're going.
