The story behind

When Gustavo Cerati released Ahí vamos in April 2006, it marked a return to that raw rock sound, like the one we knew from his days with Soda Stereo in albums such as Canción animal or Dynamo. This album received great acclaim, becoming platinum in Argentina with pre-sales alone and gold in Mexico, as well as being very popular in Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. The first single was Crimen, which was released in the same month of April and won a Grammy Latino for best rock song. A few months later, in September, came La excepción, the second single from this album. It lasts 4:12 and is a key track from that rock era of Cerati.
