The piece titled Cantina Theme (Workin’ for the Law), with its duration of 2:57, emerges as part of the soundtrack that Bob Dylan composed for Sam Peckinpah's film, Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid. This work, released in July 1973 under the Columbia Records label, marked the artist's first soundtrack album and his twelfth studio record. The inspiration for the music came directly from the film's scenes, and in it, Dylan himself played the character "Alias". The album contains the well-known *Knockin' on Heaven's Door*, which achieved notable popularity crossing the Atlantic.
