This record marked the end of his period with the record label Fonovisa Records and was produced by Daniel Freiberg. The album included tracks such as *Morelia*, which had previously been used in a telenovela and appeared on Castro's 1994 album, *El Camino del Alma*. Cristian Castro, whose full name is Cristian Sainz Valdés Castro, was born in Mexico City in 1974. His artistic career is marked by a deep family heritage: he is the son of renowned actors Verónica Castro and Manuel "El Loco" Valdés. Furthermore, his family environment connected him with figures such as José Alberto "El Güero" Castro, a telenovela producer for Televisa, and the legacy of comedians like Germán Valdés, known as Tin Tán, and Ramón Valdés, remembered for his role as Don Ramón in *El Chavo del Ocho*. Although he initially explored acting, singing was his true calling, leading him to international acclaim. Throughout his career, Castro has had 29 of his songs top the Top Latin Songs, positioning him as the third most prominent Spanish-speaking singer in Billboard's history, with sales exceeding 12 million records and numerous accolades such as gold and platinum records.
