Arrume-se Comigo

The story behind

Gaby Amarantos released Arrume-se Comigo as part of the album Rock Doido, released in August 2025. The song feels direct, as if you were in the middle of a aparelhagem party, those street celebrations in the northern region of Brazil. The music mixes rhythms like tecnobrega, funk and carimbó, but does so without losing the essence of what feels like those parties. It's short, lasting one and a half minutes, but in that time it puts you in the mood. The recording of the album was a project in collaboration with the collective Altar Sonoro, and the song fits well within that style, as if it were a piece of a puzzle that moves with the energy of the street.
