Llegando los monos

When Sumo released Llegando los monos in 1986, they were already forging their own path in the Argentine music scene. This work, released under the CBS label (now Sony Music), became a key point in their discography. The recording had the peculiarity of being self-produced by the band, with Mario Breuer at the console as engineer and Walter Fresco in artistic direction. The sound they explore here follows the post-punk line, but with that very particular imprint that characterized Sumo, mixing energy and unique atmospheres.

The album, with its eleven tracks, includes pieces like "Estallando desde el océano", "Nextweek", and "Heroína", which are part of the album's sonic identity.
