Golosinas

The year 1995 marked the solo debut of Pedro Guerra with his album Golosinas. After his time with the group Taller Canario de Canción, Guerra moved to Madrid to begin an individual career, where he was already collaborating as a composer with renowned artists. His musical style, which has its roots in Canarian folklore, is also nourished by influences from contemporary popular music, Latin American rhythms, and North African sounds. This first individual recording work is a reflection of that sonic amalgam, presenting a collection of songs that explore different facets of his artistic proposal. Within Golosinas, tracks like Biografía or Gafas de Lennon offer a window into how Pedro Guerra approaches composition, intertwining personal stories and cultural references.
