Il testo racconta la storia di un uomo che ricorda un momento della sua infanzia, quando un forte vento lo spaventava mentre sua madre lo consolava. Ora, nel presente, si trova in una relazione complicata e, dopo un litigio, la donna se ne va. Sentendo chiudersi il cancello, gli torna in mente quella scena della sua infanzia e si chiede se la loro rottura sia solo temporanea. Dice che è solo il vento, nient'altro.
