This track was conceived as part of Random Access Memories, the fourth and final studio album by the French duo Daft Punk. Recording for this album spanned from 2008 to 2012, covering studios in California such as Henson, Conway, and Capitol Studios, as well as Electric Lady Studios in New York City and Gang Recording Studio in Paris, France. Unlike the more synthetic production of earlier works like Human After All (2005), Daft Punk sought to incorporate live-played instrumentation for Random Access Memories.
