Pink wrote Who Knew for a friend who died from drugs. The song talks about a relationship that ends tragically, with a guy who injects drugs while his partner sleeps. The video shows the couple at a fair, playing and riding attractions, until the guy leaves. The girl follows him, but he becomes violent. In the end, she finds him unconscious, he suffers an overdose and dies. The song was released in 2006, first in the United Kingdom, then in the United States. It was written by Pink, Max Martin and Dr. Luke, produced by the last two. The video was filmed by Samuel Bayer, Robert Hales and Brian Lazzaro at an amusement park in Los Angeles. The song didn't have much success at first, but in 2007 it returned to the Billboard Hot 100, reached number 9 and was certified platinum.
