Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez, known artistically as Juanes, was born in Medellín, Antioquia, in 1972. From a young age, music was his great passion. He began his musical career at the age of 15 in a metal band called Ekhymosis, with which he released five albums and gained recognition in the Colombian rock scene. In 1999, he also played bass in some performances with the band Agony. After the dissolution of Ekhymosis that same year, Juanes started his solo career. His debut album, *Fíjate bien*, was released in 2000 and received good reviews. In 2002, he consolidated his proposal with *Un día normal*, achieving greater projection in Latin America. In 2004, he released the album *Mi sangre*, which became an international success. In 2005, a special edition of *Mi sangre* was launched, titled 'Tour Edition', which included live versions of songs such as *A Dios le Pido*, *La Camisa Negra*, *Fotografía* and *Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor*, as well as additional tracks like *La Paga* (with Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas), a remix of *La Camisa Negra* and the unreleased track *Lo Que Importa*.
