The story behind

The song La Camisa Negra, with its catchy rhythm and a duration of 3:50, became a widely recognized track in Juanes' repertoire. This song, included in the album Mi Sangre released in 2004, has a particular history regarding its editions. In 2005, a special version of the album, the 'Tour Edition', was released, which was a limited and numbered pressing of 150,000 copies. This expanded edition not only included the 12 original songs but also live versions of tracks like A Dios le Pido, Fotografía, and La Camisa Negra itself. Additionally, La Paga, featuring the collaboration of Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas, a remix of La Camisa Negra, and an unreleased song titled Lo Que Importa were added as bonus tracks. Interestingly, Lo Que Importa was originally composed with the album Fijate Bien in mind.

Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez, known artistically as Juanes, was born in Medellin, Antioquia, in 1972. From a young age, music was his main interest. He began his musical career at 15 in a metal band called Ekhymosis, with whom he released five albums and gained recognition in the rock scene of Colombia. After the dissolution of Ekhymosis in 1999, Juanes embarked on his solo career. His debut came in 2000 with the album Fíjate Bien, which received good reviews. In 2002, he consolidated his proposal with Un Día Normal, achieving greater projection in Latin America. The album Mi Sangre, released in 2004, became an international success, charting in numerous countries. The artistic name Juanes comes from the combination of his name, Juan Esteban.
