The story behind

Soda Stereo did not always follow the same path. In 1992, when Argentine rock had already won over crowds with Canción Animal, they decided to turn toward a darker and more experimental territory. Toma la ruta is one of the most intriguing stops on that journey: a track that sounds like a nocturnal highway, with a riff that twists like the smoke from a moving car and lyrics that seem written between neon lights and abandoned gas stations.
