Imagine The Beatles in a house in California, 1965, with actor Peter Fonda. They are in the middle of an LSD experience, and Fonda lets out an intense story about how his heart stopped three times when he was a child. This inspires John Lennon to write She Said She Said, a piece of psychedelic rock that ends up on the 1966 album Revolver. Although the song carries the Lennon-McCartney signature, it is mainly Lennon's work, with a touch of George Harrison on the backing vocals and possibly on bass, as Paul McCartney did not participate in the recording due to creative differences. The song, with its distinctive A# key, is a sonic journey that captures the essence of an era of experimentation and change.
