The story behind
In Sensational Success, Lali condenses into less than a minute something that seems like a musical joke: a track that works as a bridge between irony and catchiness, with a rhythm that speeds up without warning. It's not just an interlude; it's a statement of intent in the form of a song, where the title plays with the idea of massive success but from a perspective that doesn't take itself too seriously. The sound is straightforward, with guitars that sound like a nod to classic rock but accelerated by an electronic beat that gives it that air of intelligent parody. The track appeared in Don't Answer When the Devil Calls, released in April 2025 by Sony Music Argentina. The production was handled by Mauro De Tommaso and Don Barreto, who had previously worked with Lali on her 2023 album. Here, however, the approach was different: less polished production and more raw attitude, as if the song had been recorded in one take, without filters.
