The story behind

Paraíso, according to DoReSol

When you hear Paraíso, you encounter a song that moves away from the darker and more experimental sounds that La Ley had explored before. In this track, the band leans towards a more direct Alternative Rock sound, setting aside more complex ambient textures. The song's duration is 3 minutes and 48 seconds, a concise format that gets straight to its essence.

This change of direction occurred with the recording of the album Uno, released in February 2000. It was a moment of reconfiguration for the band, as Rodrigo Aboitiz and Luciano Rojas were no longer part of the group. They recorded this album as a trio, and for the bass lines, they enlisted Archie Frugone as a guest. Later, J.C. Cumplido, who had already participated in tours, returned to accompany them live until 2001, being later replaced by the same Archie Frugone, who stayed with them and continued collaborating. The album Uno, along with Libertad from 2003, helped consolidate La Ley as a relevant band in Latin America, receiving a Latin Grammy for each of these works.
