The story behind
No siento penas, according to DoReSol
The song No siento penas, with its duration of 3 minutes and 53 seconds, is a piece that invites reflection from its conception. The recording process involved the participation of Juanes not only as the composer of the music but also as the recording engineer. The mixing task fell to Dave Heuer and Thom Russo, while the production was a joint effort between Juanes, Aníbal Kerpel, and Gustavo Santaolalla.
This track is part of Juanes' third studio album, titled Mi Sangre, originally released on September 28, 2004. In 2005, a special edition of this album, the 'Tour Edition', was presented, released as a limited and numbered edition of 150,000 copies. This expanded version included, in addition to the 12 original songs, live versions of tracks such as A Dios le Pido, La Camisa Negra, Fotografía, and Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor. As additional material, La Paga, with the collaboration of Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas, a remix of La Camisa Negra, and the unreleased track Lo Que Importa, which was originally intended for the album Fíjate Bien, were added.
