Nadie sabe

When you dive into Nadie sabe, you encounter a piece that invites you to feel the music from within. The recording of this track, part of the album Salsa Big Band, was conceived with a clear influence from the sounds of the great orchestras of the fifties and Rubén Blades' admiration for iconic figures like Tito Puente, Tito Rodríguez, and Willie Rosario. The idea was to recreate that sonic atmosphere, and the result is a track that, with its 4 minutes and 58 seconds of duration, transports you to another era.

This album, Salsa Big Band, was a project that Rubén Blades undertook with Roberto Delgado and his Orquesta. Following the line of his previous work, Son de Panamá (released in 2015), they decided to collaborate again to bring eleven tracks to life. Of these compositions, nine were originally created by Blades, while two are reinterpretations of songs written by Luis Demetrio and René Touzet. The production of the album fell to Roberto Delgado, who, along with Blades, orchestrated this sonic journey that was released under the label Rubén Blades Productions in April 2017.
