The story behind
When you dive into Love Comes From the Inside, you encounter one of the most explored facets by Laura Pausini: the ballad that reaches you straight to the heart. Although the bulk of From the Inside leans towards pop, this song, along with another, deviates a bit, offering a different atmosphere. It's interesting to note that, while this album marks her English debut, two of its tracks had already seen the light of day in Italian and Spanish on previous works. One of them, in fact, was originally conceived in English and later adapted, but curiously, its first appearance was in those other languages. The creation process of this album involved the collaboration of heavyweight songwriters, such as Andreas Carlsson and Patrick Leonard, who has worked extensively with Madonna.
This work, From the Inside, was released on November 5, 2002, marking her seventh studio album and her first project entirely in English. It was a significant stage for Pausini, who was already an established figure. The album continued to explore her style, but with the peculiarity of presenting it in a different language, seeking to connect with a wider audience. This album remained her only English studio album until the release of Laura Xmas in 2016.
