The story behind
The song Lo Que Me Gusta a Mí was released in 2006 as part of the promotion for the album Mi Sangre. It was recorded in 2004 and falls within the Latin pop genre. Juanes, whose real name is Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez, was born in Medellín, Antioquia, in 1972. From a young age, music was his main interest. He began his musical career at 15 years old in a metal band called Ekhymosis, with whom he released five albums. After Ekhymosis disbanded in 1999, Juanes embarked on his solo career. His debut album, Fíjate Bien, came out in 2000. In 2002, he consolidated his work with Un Día Normal, achieving greater recognition in Latin America. In 2004, he released Mi Sangre, an album that became an international success.
