Lago en el cielo

The story behind

Gustavo Cerati wrote «Lago en el cielo» for his fourth album as a solo artist, Ahí vamos, released in 2006. The song was released as the fourth single in 2008, along with a video made by fans. Cerati recorded it before his accident, and played it live for the last time in Caracas in 2010. It is a soft ballad, with a clear melody, which moves away from the more raw rock of the album, but still uses electric guitars. The video includes drawings by fans, paper boats and seagulls, made by people who participated in a contest organized by the musician himself.
