The story behind
The song La Verónica, with its duration of 5 minutes and 55 seconds, presents us with a sonic universe that invites exploration. The music, born from the pen of Fito Páez, was conceived and mixed by himself along with Carlos Narea and Nigel Walker, immersing us in a particular atmosphere.
Rodolfo Fito Páez, originally from Rosario and a key figure of the Trova rosarina, has built a solid career since 1963. His career, spanning over three decades, is distinguished by an extensive production that includes studio albums, live albums, and compilations, as well as significant collaborations. After an initial phase of critical recognition, his international projection consolidated in the early nineties with releases such as El amor después del amor (1992) and Circo beat (1994), works that achieved notable commercial success. Throughout his career, Fito Páez has been awarded on several occasions, including five Latin Grammy awards. He obtained the first ones in the year 2000 for his album Abre (1999) and for the song Al lado del camino. Subsequently, between 2007 and 2009, he received three more Grammy awards in different categories. Furthermore, the Konex Foundation recognized him in 1995 with the Platinum Konex Award as the best rock composer of the decade in Argentina.
