The story behind
The Beatles recorded If You've Got Trouble in February 1965, just before releasing the album Help!. The idea was for the song to appear on the album and also in the film of the same name, as the only song performed by Ringo Starr. But in the end, it was replaced by another, and it was left unpublished until it appeared in Anthology 2.
The recording was quick, like many others from that time. The main vocals were sung by Ringo, which was unusual, and the main part was done in one take. The band accompanied it with a simple instrumental, but with a touch of rhythm that makes it recognizable. The song was not released until 1996, when it was included in Anthology 2, along with other tracks that never made it to the group's lifetime release.
