The story behind

Marty Balin released Hearts in 1981, a single that was released on the album *Balin*. The song was recorded that same year and produced by John Hug. It reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, 9 on the chart of adult contemporary and 20 on the rock chart in the United States. There was also a music video, filmed on Alcatraz Island with shots of the Golden Gate Bridge.
