The story behind
Foreigner released a song called Headknocker on the album of the same name, released in March 1977. The song lasts three minutes and a half, and is played on more than one hundred ten thousand plays on Last.fm.
The song is part of an album that produced three hits, among them Feels Like the First Time. Headknocker was not a single, but appears on the album along with other songs such as Starrider, where the guitarist Mick Jones sings solo. He had written several songs before the band was formed, and the vocalist Lou Gramm sang them in an audition. Later, Gramm and Jones worked on others, including Long, Long Way from Home, along with Ian McDonald.
