Fun facts

Ich Troje released "Follow My Heart" in 2006, a rock with pop touches that ended up representing Poland in the Eurovision. The song was written by four guys: André Franke, Michał Wiśniewski, Jacek Łągwa and Real McCoy. To choose the song, TVP organized a national contest, the Piosenka dla Europy 2006, which took place on February 28th. There, fifteen entries were presented.

The story behind

REO Speedwagon released Follow My Heart as part of their album Hi Infidelity, which came out in November 1980. The song was recorded in a New York studio and has a rhythm that moves between rock and pop. It has a piano that feels like a heartbeat, and a voice that carries the song calmly. The lyrics talk about following the heart, not letting doubts stop you. It is a song that can be played live, with a rhythm that grips well, and that leaves space for improvisation. The duration is three and a half minutes, long enough to make you think about what it means to follow the heart.
