The story behind
La Toya Jackson released Feels Like Love in 2014, a dance-pop song that talks about how music and dance can break barriers. The song describes a night of dancing, where the music lifts her when she feels sad. In the chorus, she says that "music is like love" and that "it takes over her body and she loses control". The track was produced by Brandon Howard, son of Miki Howard, a friend of the Jackson family. The singer recorded it while preparing for her second marriage with Phillips.
