The story behind
When you dive into Feeling Down, you encounter an atmosphere that invites exploration. The piece, with its 4 minutes and 14 seconds of duration, unfolds with a particular sensitivity. It is part of Methods of Silence, the second studio work by the German trio Camouflage, released in June 1989.
To shape this album, the group established a new workspace, "Boys Factory 2," near their hometown. Then, in early 1989, they moved to Synsound Studio in Brussels. There, producer Dan Lacksman, known for his work with Telex, combined technological equipment from both current and previous eras. The band had greater creative freedom, something that emerged after the success of their previous works. The album reached number 13 on the German charts, and its first single, Love Is a Shield, reached ninth place in singles in that country, in addition to positioning itself at number 20 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay in the United States.
