The story behind

Nina Simone recorded Don’t Smoke in Bed in 1957, before the release of her first album. The song was part of an album called Little Girl Blue, but it was delayed a lot. The label didn't promote anything, and Simone got frustrated. In the end, she left for another company and recorded something else. The song remained in the dark side of history, never being released. Although it wasn't a success, it remains an interesting piece of her repertoire.
